Rocket nozzle dampener undergoing final product certification.

Our extensive nonmetallic manufacturing facility includes a six foot diameter autoclave.
Skilled craftsmanship produces an integral phenolic insulation system.

The industry’s ongoing demand for higher-strength and lower-weight systems and components led Arrowhead to perfect its work with elastomerics and composites. The resulting products combine both rigid and flexible sections in custom structural shapes. High flame resistance, low heat absorption, unparalleled flexibility and superb thermal performance can be attained. Polyimide felt and flexible foam are used in composite exhaust ducts for noise attenuation in high-temperature environments.

Arrowhead’s thermal insulation capabilities include blankets as well as integral and removable duct insulation. These products are capable of withstanding temperatures as low as -420°F and as high as 2000°F. Arrowhead produces custom-designed, all-elastomeric specialty components, high-temperature fire shields and foil blankets, fabric-reinforced flexible ducting and low-pressure composite systems and components using silicone, Neoprene, Viton, butyl and nitrile elastomerics in combination with fiberglass, Kevlar, nylon, Dacron, Nomex and Nextel.

We can satisfy nearly any product development, qualification or acceptance requirement with the following in-house capabilities:
  • Static and fatigue testing
  • Sine and random vibration testing
  • High- and low-temperature testing
  • Flow and pressure drop testing
  • Temperature extremes testing
  • Mass spectrometer testing

Insulation solutions utilize a variety of metallic and nonmetallic materials in nearly any size or shape, and available in removable and integral configurations for duct assemblies
